Lynnette Shelley

Lynnette Shelley is a self-taught vocalist who has been performing for the past 20 years in independent groups that ranged from alternative rock to progressive rock. Along with bassist Brandon Lord Ross, she co-founded The Red Masque — her longest-running musical project — in 2001. In 2013, she also started working with a new art rock project, which became Green Cathedral. They are currently wrapping up recording their debut album.

Some of her musical influences and / or musical likes include Peter Hammill and Van Der Graaf Generator, David Bowie, The Swans, Dead Can Dance, The Art Bears, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Fairport Convention, Comus, Pentangle, The Great Society, Magma, Diamanda Galas, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, PJ Harvey, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, PInk Floyd, Curved Air, Renaissance, NIck Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Wolf People, Purson, Ghost, The Church, Fleet Foxes, Nina Hagen, Kate Bush, and more.

Originally from Delaware, Lynnette is a professional award-winning fine artist working out of Ambler, PA.
